Who we are

Blocks Ablaze is made by a passionate developer who is responsible for the data described here. Support: support@blocks-ablaze.xyz.

Kept on your phone

Your scores, stats, achievements, streak, quests, settings and any game in progress are saved on your phone only. Deleting the game deletes them.

Sent to our server

To run the leaderboards, the game creates a guest account with a random ID and sign-in tokens. It sends:

  • the scores you make in Classic and Daily, with the board and the time they were sent;
  • the nickname you choose, if you choose one. It is shown publicly next to your scores.

Like any web server, ours also sees your IP address when the game connects. We use all of this only to run and protect the leaderboards.

Ads

The game shows ads from Google AdMob. Google may collect your device's advertising ID, IP address and how you interact with ads, to show, measure and, with your consent, personalise them. See how Google uses data from apps that use its services.

In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland the game asks for your consent before any personalised ads, and you can change your choice at any time from Privacy options in Settings. You can also reset or limit your advertising ID in your phone's settings.

The game counts ad events (requests, impressions, rewards) on your phone to decide when ads may show, such as no ads in your first three games.

Notifications

Reminders are scheduled on your phone, after you allow them. No notification server is involved and nothing is sent when they fire. You can turn them off in your phone's settings.

Sharing and reviews

When you share a score card, your phone's share sheet sends it where you choose; we do not see it. Rating prompts are shown by Apple or Google, and your rating goes to them.

This website

This website sets no cookies and runs no analytics or tracking. Our host may keep ordinary server logs, such as IP addresses, for security.

How long we keep it

Leaderboard scores and nicknames are kept while the leaderboards run. Guest accounts that have not been used for a long time may be deleted along with their scores.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or object to how it is used. Email support@blocks-ablaze.xyz with your nickname and roughly when you last played, and we will find your guest account. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

Children

Blocks Ablaze is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has sent us data, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top. Big changes will also be shown in the game.
